The candidate-driven flow
Most background-check products are recruiter-driven: the recruiter triggers a check, the candidate submits documents, the recruiter reviews results. Zinc inverts that flow. The candidate drives most of the verification UI, which reduces friction in countries where local privacy law makes recruiter-driven document collection awkward (notably the UK and EU).
